BLANK SPACE is proud to present "Linear Chromatics", a solo exhibition featuring an entirely new series of works by Yoo Hyun. Inspired by the fabric of everyday life, Yoo Hyun’s paintings explore spatial concepts and geometric structures encountered in urban landscapes: be it the stark lines of buildings, the rhythmic patterns of road grids, or the intricate interplay of light and shadow upon asphalt cracks, with a new technique unique to Yoo Hyun.

"My process involves a series of experiments aimed at exploring the essence of painting. I begin with figurative works, where figures emerge through skillful paper tearing, and then transition into abstract compositions. By utilizing techniques such as spraying and dripping liquid onto untreated fabric, I create a fusion of color and texture.”
