Her sculptures, which feature intricate detail and bold use of color, have earned her global acclaim and can be found in private collections worldwide as well as public institutions such as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporaries Art in Korea and the Hong Kong Velodrome.
Kim holds an MFA from Sungshin Women's University and is currently pursuing a PhD at Hongik University. Her work has been showcased in solo exhibitions and group shows around the world, cementing her status as a highly regarded public artist in Korea. Through her art, Kim invites viewers to see the beauty in everyday life and to appreciate the complex emotions that underlie seemingly mundane moments.

Born and raised in South Korea, Gyoungmin Kim developed a passion for sculpture from a young age. After completing her undergraduate studies in sculpture at Sungshin Women's University, she went on to earn an MFA from the same institution, where she honed her skills in bronze and steel casting. During her studies, Kim developed a unique approach to capturing the beauty of the mundane through her sculptures, focusing on the emotional richness of everyday moments.
Kim's work has been exhibited extensively in solo and group shows around the world, including in Korea, the United States, Japan, and Hong Kong. Her sculptures often depict human figures engaged in everyday activities, such as reading, sleeping, or simply standing, but they are infused with a sense of depth and emotion that makes them come alive. Kim's use of bold colors and intricate details further enhances the expressive power of her sculptures, inviting viewers to contemplate the complexity and beauty of the human experience.
In addition to her work as a sculptor, Kim is also an educator and a public artist. She has taught sculpture at various universities in Korea and has been commissioned to create public art installations in Korea, Hong Kong, and other locations. Through her art and her teaching, Kim has inspired countless people to see the world in a new light and to appreciate the richness of everyday life.
